Mental Funeral Zine: MF 6 UPDATES(Dec 07)

The Rita interview and the Rob Fornicator interviews are back and complete! Two to go to complete the MF 6 interview line-up. I sent over the questions to Robert Morgan(director of the craptastic 70's drive in gem Bloodstalkers) while he admits he has alot on his plate at the moment he said he would get to answering my questions...fingers crossed. As for Profanatica I got the first half of the interview back from John. I have a second part to send him to wrap that one up. I'm hoping to meet with Paul(Profanatica) to be able to do his portion of the interview live.

Lastly, I've banged out 15 pages of reviews thus far for MF 6.

Also, I have an idea brewing for a cover. All is coming together well.

STATEMENT FROM PAUL LEDNEY:

"Profanatica have signed on to play SOTNC Fest 9 this coming June in TX. We have decided to cancel all shows in NJ to make this fest a one time special event for Profanatica.

We have never been out of the east coast, and it's long overdue. This is the only official show Profanatica is promoting. Many others have taken bits and pieces of my posts and pasted it into their own blogs and flyers. I do not support this. San Antonio is the only place Profanatica will play. Many people are already concerned that we will only play for 15 min. This is not true. Below you will see the set list in its whole so that you can be prepared. This is the same set list I have mailed to John Gelso who is already going over these old songs as you read this. Many many people have supported Profanatica over the years and we are more than grateful. The fact that we never sold out or changed our style is our gift back to you. Thank you.

Jim Roe will take over drum duties. Jim played on INCANTATION's golgotha disc, and is in the same style as Profanatica drumming. This will leave me to be the front man on vocals, and torment the crowd with blood, semen, and blasphemy.

At the fest will have for sale very special black hoodies covered in prints. The only place to buy these hoodies is at the fest itself. We cannot and will not sell these to any other vendors or distros.
